WRITE...ARE YOU READY TO ROAR?

How the heck are you? I'd genuinely love to know. I wonder if, like me, you've been feeling a bit like a tortoise lately? I feel I've been making slow progress and I've definitely felt like hiding in my shell at times. It turns out, it was all for the greater good because now, I'm ready to come out and the upcoming Lions Gate Portal, makes it a perfect moment. It took me years, no decades, to learn to trust my intuition and inner guide. It's when things like this happen that I'm reminded how absolutely crucial, powerful and transformational it can be. All the conditioning, and even some of my peers, were coaxing me out, encouraging me into the spotlight but I resisted. I knew the timing was off. When you work for yourself, it's hard to resist opportunities when they're presented to you. They can often be few and far between and when I first started out, I would grab every one with eager, greedy hands. However, when I reflect back, some of those 'opportunities' were just well disguised misalignments.


Lions Gate reminds me to be brave and trust yourself rather than listening to others, takes courage. But what the heck is Lions Gate anyway? I'm no astrological expert but some of my friends are and this is what they're telling me... We all pretty much know the importance of the number and figure 8. In Chinese culture, it represents infinity, flow and prosperity, in numerology abundance and balance and even in the bible, the number 8 is linked to rebirth and resurrection. The number 8 is lucky however and wherever you look at it, and on 8/8, 8 August, we get double lucky. Of course we're in Leo season, hence the lion representation. Lions of course are all about courage and control (unless you're the lion in the Wizard of Oz, and even he got brave eventually), so it's a perfect time to make changes, take chances, reach out, start something new and also, to bravely say goodbye to anything or anyone who is holding you back or not on board with your deepest dreams and desires. I know, right?!!!


And as if that wasn't enough, here's what else my astro friends are telling me. The Lions Gate Portal happens when the powerful star Sirius opens up a portal between worlds.

A rare cosmic event, the portal opens up opportunities for messages and communication to come through from other realms. The frequency is high and transformational vibrations are strong, so if you’ve been feeling dizzy, tingly, unbalanced or hearing voices, you’re just receiving. Open up.


This portal allows us to tune in, to be honest about much needed change, to receive rare levels of powerful insights and guidance, seriously raise our vibration and change our transformational frequency. Don’t waste it. Think of it as a springboard that can launch you towards your deepest dreams and desires. If you’ve been waiting, hoping and dreaming, NOW is the time to take action.


Here are some things I'll be doing. You might want to join me... 1. I'll be grabbing my journal and heading out into a quiet space in nature cos that's my thing. 2. Taking my 2 favourite crystals - tiger's eye (protection) and clear quartz (clarity and openness).

3. I'll try to sit by an oak tree because the mighty oak represents strength, courage and protection. WRITING PROMPTS... Open on a blank page and ask yourself the following questions:

  1. How has my fear/lack of courage held me back in the past/so far? (Write quickly for 2 minutes without stopping).

  2. What would be different if I had been brave enough to take up one of those opportunities? (Write quickly for 2 minutes without pausing).

  3. What I am I avoiding right now that needs more courage than I feel able to muster?

  4. What one thing can I do in the next few days that I know will enhance my experience but is something I would usually avoid?


Now, can you commit to actually doing that one thing? It's just one thing but it could be one mighty momentous step towards BIG change for you. Go on, you know you deserve to roar!
